The one thread I can conjure or rationalize that might hold all this new stuff together is the fact that I will probably spend most of the time pointing out the bullshit, or drivel, in a given subject. For instance, if I post a review about the abortion of film making known as The Dark Knight Rises, expect me to point out what went wrong with it in terms of storytelling and why people seem to like it anyways. Or maybe if I write something on atmospheric science, I'll probably blast a lot of things wrong with so-called 'climatology' and why global warming is not as full-proof as people think... while at the same time criticizing those who think there's no way we could trash our own biosphere. So maybe, sorting out the thoughts and drivel will become a theme here. Or not. I'd like to lie and say I'll limit myself to something specific for your benefit, but sadly, this is impossible.

New Direction
After a summer's absence I've decided to reinvent this blog by eliminating the autobiographical purposes it served during my first year in England and moving it towards something that is hopefully more interesting to people outside my immediate family and friends. Frankly my life isn't fucking interesting enough to warrant a public journal, and writing about the assorted drivel of C.G. Jung can only carry a guy so far. I'm sure I'll still probably continue to discuss the good and bad of analytical psychology. But I also want to start drawing on other topics that hold my interest, in science and philosophy, or in society and technology. I realize full well this goes against common sense in what makes a good blog or webcast; logic dictates the more discrete topic you have, the better chance you have on gaining a following. But sadly I have too many interests and just can't think of one I want to pin myself on to make that work. The only obscure subject I think I could truly do an original blog on, something that I have an expertise in, is personality typology, and frankly I'm so fucking down and outright fed up with that subject right now I can't imagine I'd get much further than a single post ripping the crap to shreds. Granted I might only hate typology right now because I'm sick of studying psychology... but there proves my point! I don't like focusing on one thing. I like to be general. Which is the great thing of writing, it allows, even encourages that. Hence, this blog will be all over the damn place.
